In this Business Insider exclusive, Cheryl Teh profiles how Brice Laville Saint-Martin quit his art director role at Supercell at 30 to build something of his own. Now at 32, he's secured $4.5M in seed funding co-led by A16z Speedrun and Laton Ventures. The Barcelona-based team of 10 is developing MISFITZ, a social-driven extraction shooter where players can collaborate or betray their alliances. Antihero's data shows 70,000+ players joined the pre-alpha, with top players logging 10 hours a day. "It's not 2016 anymore. The competition is incredible," Laville Saint-Martin told BI.
