Antihero Studios team raises $4.5M for MISFITZ extraction shooter

Founded in 2024 by veterans of King and Supercell, Antihero Studios has set out to develop 'games worth sharing,' beginning with social shooter MISFITZ. The studio's extraction shooter attracted 70,000 players during its pre-alpha test in February, with power users playing for 10 hours per day on average. CEO Brice Laville Saint-Martin says the game's extraction mechanics are designed to encourage younger players to socially engage.
