Extraction shooters are the most interesting genre in gaming right now. On PC and console, there are real choices. On mobile, the picture is messier. Seven games are competing for the space, and they have almost nothing in common beyond the word "extraction" in their store listing.

During a MISFITZ alpha session, a player teamed up with a stranger. They cleared three areas together, split every piece of loot evenly, played like friends. Thirty seconds from extraction, the stranger stopped moving. Two seconds of nothing. Then they turned and killed him.
Every character in MISFITZ tells you something about the person playing them. Ray, Rush, Beat, Gloss, Shade, and Drip. Not because we designed it that way, but because when you give people six distinct personalities and a game built on trust and betrayal, people self-sort.
The honest version of our founding story involves a cramped co-working space in the Poblenou district, a whiteboard we bought from IKEA that kept falling off the wall, and a three-week argument about whether "MISFITZ" was a terrible name.
